The paper proposes a new definition of the term „communication” through a new approach to the concept of „manipulation”. The thesis is that all communication is manipulation or manipulation by reversible messages. Manipulation can carry positive or negative, so communication can be examined as a positive or negative subjective measure of impact. Genesis of manipulativnostta been sought in the psychology of the crowd, and individual manipulant is called „crowdid”. Perform dissection of information manipulation through two principal programs – forming and handling. Deploy a manipulative mechanism of information exchange referred to are the two most important prerequisites – censorship and transparency, and summarizes the specific characteristics of manipulative agenda. The study ends with an overview of the latest techniques of information handling - the speculative persuasion, suggesting manipulation of attention, „brainwashing”, disinformation and deceit in the computerized world of the Matrix.
