This study examines specific features of the blogs as a part of the Bulgarian blogosphere. The subject of the research includes observation of the blogs as relatively new phenomena in Bulgaria but we want to add that the blogs created by Bulgarian bloggers are developing dynamically during the last five years. The main goal of the current paper is to investigate kinds of blogs and blogospheres in Bulgaria. The second research goal includes survey of specific verbal and virtual features of the blogs as a specific manifestation of web-writing.
In the first part of the paper are introduced and interpreted the main terms: blog, blogger, blogosphere. The second part includes results of the research on the Bulgarian blogs and blogospheres.
After the observation of the Bulgarian blogosphere reasonably we can say that it includes a few types: political, green, journalistic, corporate, educational, academic, corporate, bank, art blogospheres. Most of the Bulgarian bloggers have experience in preparation and publishing the posts in their blogs. All blogs have the following structural features: pages, particularly homepage, posts, tags, blog roll, archive, links and permalinks and naturally the title.
Verbal and visual elements of the posts, self-presentations of the bloggers and video clips are included in the final virtual product by Bulgarian bloggers. The blog’s posts present the specific application of the web-writing and thus more Bulgarian bloggers develop and improve their web-writing skills. Reasonably we can summarize that there is a Bulgarian blogosphere, some different sub-blogospheres and strong and stable trends: sharing, interactivity, ratings, good quality of the most blogs etc.
